About Rush by KIRA
Where the two of us came from
Rush by KIRA is built by two brothers, Sahil and Dhhruv. We grew up in an Army household. Our father served in the Indian Armed Forces, which meant routines, discipline and a strong push towards sports and physical training. But gaming was where we felt most like ourselves. It was the one space that never judged us for not fitting into the mould we were expected to fit.
Some of our best childhood memories came from those small escapes. Playing on a friend’s old GameBoy. Sitting shoulder to shoulder during COD LAN sessions. FIFA nights at someone’s house until sunrise. Gaming became the place where life slowed down and where we felt connected to something bigger than our everyday routines.
What changed everything
Before Rush by KIRA, we built KIRA Esports. It became one of India’s top Rainbow Six Siege teams, and it felt like the first thing we truly created on our own terms. In 2021, during the second wave of Covid, we lost both of our parents within days. Our world fell apart. Everything that felt stable disappeared. It was just the two of us, trying to figure out what life looked like without them.
Rush by KIRA was born in that silence. Not as a tribute or a big brand idea. It was simply something real we could hold onto. Something we could build slowly, honestly and with intention. Something that kept us moving forward.
What we want this brand to be
We always wondered why gaming merchandise around the world felt so shallow when the stories inside games were so deep. Loud prints. Cheap fabrics. Designs that said “gamer” but never said anything meaningful. We wanted to build the opposite. Clothing that carries the emotion of the worlds we grew up in. Clothing that only the right people would understand.
One day, two people matched on Bumble because both of them recognised the story reference printed on one of our tees. They connected instantly without speaking. That moment made everything clear. Rush by KIRA should feel like that. Clothing that lets gamers recognise each other. Clothing that creates connection without needing a word.
We are fully bootstrapped. No big teams. No investors. Most collections take eight to ten months to build because it is still just the two of us shaping every detail. If a design does not feel personal or honest, we do not release it. We would rather be slow than be empty.
Rush by KIRA is our story, but the moment you wear something from us, it becomes yours too.
